Hello⦠itās me, Safa š¶š
Today something new happened in my little world.
I was sitting there, watching everything closely, when I saw a spoon coming toward me. On it was something I had never seen before. It smelled different. It looked different. I wasnāt sure what to think.
I opened my mouth a little⦠then closed it š
Everyone smiled and waited patiently.
When the spoon touched my lips, I tasted something new. My eyes grew wide. I didnāt know if I liked it or not. I paused, thought for a moment, and then tasted again. This time, it felt⦠interesting.
I made a funny face. Everyone laughed.
That made me feel brave.
I tried another bite. Then another. Some went into my mouth, some on my cheeks, and some on my tiny hands. Eating is not always neat when youāre learningābut Iām learning every day.
This new food wasnāt just about taste. It was about trust.
Trusting the hands that feed me.
Trusting myself to try something new.
By the end, my tummy felt warm and full, and my heart felt proud. I didnāt just eat todayāI grew a little more.
Maybe tomorrow Iāll love this food.
Maybe Iāll try something else new.
For now, Iāll just smile⦠because I tried šš
With love,
Safa š¶š
