Hello… it’s me, Safa 👶💞
Today someone pointed a little box at me again. I see it often. Sometimes it flashes, sometimes it makes funny sounds. I don’t know why everyone loves it so much—but I know what happens next.
They smile at me first.
When I see their faces light up, something warm grows inside my chest. I feel safe. I feel loved. And without thinking, my lips slowly curve into a smile.
That’s the moment they call “today’s click.”
I don’t practice my smile. I don’t plan it. It just happens when I hear my name spoken softly or when someone looks at me like I’m their whole world. My smile comes from feeling happy, from being held close, from knowing I belong.
Sometimes my smile is small and shy.
Sometimes it’s wide and full of laughter.
And sometimes, it’s just a quiet little grin meant for someone special.
In that tiny moment, when the picture is taken, I don’t know I’m making a memory. I don’t know it will be saved, shared, or looked at again and again. I only know that I’m happy right now.
And maybe one day, when I grow bigger, I’ll look at this picture and feel the love that surrounded me in this very moment.
